The Hotel Avocado

I did well, actually, to read this back-to-back with "The Satsuma Complex" as being used to Mortimer's rhythm and writing style made it much easier to read (thus being able to bump the rating slightly). It is a lot of the same as the previous one but it helps elevate the book, if you will, much more into the mid category.

I have heard this is best read as an audiobook actually. I suspect it really helps if you have actual comedians / comedic actors reading it. But it also somewhat explains why the entire time I was reading it, I was plagued by a sense of this aiming to be a TV series rather than a novel.
