2.5/5 Liliana and Romero were probably the cutest and healthiest couple from the series. It’s a mafia romance so no totally healthy but you know. I don't know if it's just me, but I only notice in Matteo and Gianna's book that his real name is Romero, not Romeo. But I’m blind so that’s probably the reason. I found that weird that they were so in love after "being together" for three months. Still, I loved that Romero was so gentle with Liliana, and they fought for each other until the end. "Nobody will take you away from me. I’ll fight a million wars if it means I can keep you.” At one point the plot was a bit boring, but these books are so monothematic that if you read them all at once, you might get bored of them. The ending was rushed too, but honestly, every book in the series has that problem.

2.5 the writing is so bad😭 i love reading mafia books but it was hella weird that they met when she was like 12 idk bro. that one scene with nino had me excited abt the camorra chronicles tho

I was so used reading about The Capo, The Consigliere but this Mafia Romance of a soldier is one I really love and to mention the friendship of their Capo and to the loyal soldier is really something else. I love Romero & Liliana love story. The war is worth the risk. No Doubt: 5 Stars

ARGH i dont know what happened!!!! i was thinking this book was gonna be better, and it was, but towards the end it just got eh. though, i liked their story much better. it was just so average.

already knew lily was annoying from the previous books but somehow she got even worse in this one. don’t really like romero now either 🤷🏻‍♀️ literally the dumbest characters ever need cora to give them a few functioning brain cells

2,5⭐️ When I say I wanted a female main character in these books that was adventurous and fought for her freedom but also her family, I meant a character like Lily. The main difference between Lily and Gianna for me was when the time to make decisions that could danger the family and loved ones, Lily decided to go through the pain of not choosing her own happiness. Romero though.... I really like him. He is a bad guy, obviously but in a way he is also good. I was enjoying this book a lot until the forced marriage part. Those entire scenes were so disgusting to read and even though I understand it was necessary, it was really hard to go through all that. The book was very predictable, as all the others, but there were some nice parts. Honestly the ending made me wonder what will happen with Fabi ...

He amado por completo a los protagonistas y me ha encantado la parejaza que forman, pero siento que su historia ha sido muy pobre y que la autora podría haber creado una súper historia para Lily y Romero. Lily me ha encantado. Ha sido un personaje que me ha encantado. Es súper dulce, sensible y amable y me ha encantado su personalidad. Romero también ha sido un personaje increíble pero súper poco desarrollado y me hubiera encantado saber y conocer más de él. La parejaza que forman es increíble. Me ha gustado muchísimo su amor prohibido y cómo luchan por estar juntos. Me han parecido adorables. Pero como digo, siento que la autora ha desperdiciado hacer una historia increíble. Creo que ha sido bastante simple, algo superficial y me ha faltado muchísimo en esta historia. Creo que se podría haber desarrollado mucho más y haber hecho una grandísima historia.

Ummmm I’m confused!! This is definitely unfinished. I actually am speechless, this was not only boring but? Romero & Lilianas story was cute not that steamy no real smut angst it was like reading a story about teenagers sneaking around. Idkk this was weird nothing made sense especially not the ending.

I loved this book so much. I can’t get enough of the bodyguard romance trope! I’ve been looking forward to reading about this couple since the first book in the series and I was not disappointed at all. This couple stole my heart. I couldn’t put this book down, I just wanted Lily and Romero to be together. They were so sweet together. The fact that Lily had loved him since she was younger was so cute🥺 Their love wasn’t easy but it was beautiful! They risked everything for love. Someone find me a Romero please.

lily/romero are the cutest and softest couple in this series so far. i still think that the books are starting to get repetitive with the arranged marriages, and with the obvious lack of an overall plotline, i have no idea where this series is going. even after all those problems i have and the lack of editing + grammatical errors, the series is addicting.

** spoiler alert ** Com certeza o melhor livro dessa série até agora, eu gosto muito mais do Romero do que qualquer um dos outros personagens masculinos. O relacionamento da Liliana e do Romero foi o mais lindo de toda a série, foi muito bom ver que, diferente dos outros livros, existia um amor mútuo. Gostei de ver o apoio que os irmãos Scuderi deram um ao outro.
