El Ritualista

Joel wants to be a Rithmatist: with their power to infuse life into 2-D figures known as Chalklings, they are humanity's only defense against Wild Chalklings, which threaten the American Isles. Joel can only watch as Rithmatist students learn the magical art that he would do anything to practice. Then students start disappearing, leaving only trails of blood.
