Mistborn The Final Empire

The second half is 6 stars. I do not think that the first half could have been whittled down at all, and honestly I wouldn’t want it to be, but it felt so dense that, looking back, I don’t get that five star feeling. This is probably a 4.75, I enjoyed so much of it! Other than the extended start, there were just a few little things (how Vin talked about her risk for SA, the pants-to-dress, Vin being the only girl) that I don’t think were bad, but I just don’t often come up against as I mostly read female authors. Still, the story and the themes are so big and so well done. There is such a good exploration about class and blood purity, the world is built exceptionally well to deliver these themes. I cannot wait for the next!!
