I love these books. They're cute and funny and simple. The characters, despite the magic, are so real and identifiable. I've read them so many times. I've listen to the books on tape so many times. The author makes you feel like you're in the book the entire time and you become personal friends with the characters. I love it.

I read this a Pre-Teen for the first time and fell in love with the young adult high school drama of an outcast Rachel, reminded me of myself. Rereading it now as an adult it still holds up and brings me back to my childhood. Can't wait to read the rest of the series again!!!
