Brave

After watching the film adaptations of the series, I just had to read the books and what a great ride it has been to get more depth on the characters. Although I will say that Passionflix adaptation for the first two (was pretty close to the story which I greatly appreciated) I really valued what was delivered here. I also really loved the way in which these books just packed a punch. It makes me realize how much more I want to read from this author. Everything I have read from her has just been so superb. I also really appreciated the way in which this story evolved. Its not an easy story necessarily to read, there is plenty of aspects to it that will really tug at your heartstrings. I really valued what we saw in the conclusion though. And these covers are really pretty although they are nothing like what you are getting in the story lol

The world building was truly fascinating and I just want to know more about the fae courts and these brother princes. I am relieved to see that she continues the series wtih the Dark Night books so it doesn't leave you hanging what will be happening with the queen. The romance between these two was really incredible. So fascinating and inspiring in many ways. Definitely eager for more from this world.

Book 3 in the wicked trilogy by JLA we are thrown right back into the book where book two ended. I’m going to make this review short sweet since this is part of a series and I don’t want to give anything away. Overall I really enjoyed this book. There’s tons of action, romance, mystery, and suspense. However, not only did it take me forever to finish this book (not really sure why) but I felt it was a little lackluster and it really felt like it was missing something. Not my favorite in this series but it ended on a good note, but not with a shiny big bow and it also left me wanting a little more closure. Now that I know that there are additional books after this one, it makes sense to me how this one ended.

Not my favorite but I wasn’t disappointed either. Solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars.

I have finally finished the wicked trilogy and I adored it! The characters were amazing and let me tell you the betrayal I felt!!! Tink is my favorite character of the whole series lol he’s amazing. I love this series so much. 5 stars 10/10!

This book was so good. I love that Ivy has to work through her PTSD at the beginning of the book and how Ren doesn't walk away, even when it get's hard for them. And that even though she's still working through her issues, she is still able to fight.

           I think the first portion dragged immensely. Ivy was constantly battling herself for 1/2 the book to the point I wanted to yell GET ON WITH IT ALREADY! 

As Ivy and her team came together with new fey characters, things started to build and get interesting. 

Everything got hot, intense and built to a climax that just kinda faltered at the end.

I loved this series so much but this one was definitely my least favorite of the series, I’m hoping there will be one more just to bring the story full swing ❤️

It has been awhile since I read Torn, so in the beginning I was a bit confused. I eventually got there though and really enjoyed this book. My full review will be posted soon. All I want to say is that I can never look at trolls the same again, haha.

Okay honestly one of the best books I've read. I think JLA just keeps getting better and I don't know how that's possible. I hope we get a book later on down the line with the final battle. I would love to see more Ren and Ivy and them kick ass. My heart was soaring, broken, I was laughing, I was angry, and I loved it all.

Ivy is struggling with PTSD after being rescued from The Prince by Ren and the good fae. She is pulling away from her loved ones, but with the threat of The Prince finding another halfling, she has to get her act together to save the world.

I liked how Jennifer L Armentrout represents Ivy´s PTSD in the book. It was described in a really believable way and makes you feel sad for Ivy. It's understandable after her traumatic events of the last book. She feels disconnected from herself and her environment and is constantly reliving her trauma. When she is suddenly attacked by fae in Fae Hotel she has to be forced to feed again, paying a high price that will change her forever. Despite all this, she has to face the winter court again with the help of The Order and The Good Fae. The ending didn't satisfy me, they didn't defeat the Queen just delayed the invasion for a few years.

This series has been a roller coaster of fun, without a doubt. I love Ivy and Ren, and of course Tink is the true hero of these books. This whole series has many of my favorite things: urban fantasy, ethereal fae who aren’t very friendly, and an adult romance. 

Needless to say, these books have been a pleasure to read and I’m excited to jump into the companion novels and read those as well!
