THIS FREAKING BOOK. 

Before anything else, I will just say that they are now my family and if anyone hurts any of them I’ll hunt them down. 

With that being said, I will just say this: KONSTANTIN, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE? 

Now, on a rather more serious note, this book was everything and more. I am so glad they got their happy ending. 

Something that really stands out for me in this series is how much of a family they all are - found family - and how women are not objectified nor seen as mere pawns in men’s business. They play an active role in Konstantin’s bratva and I was sooooo proud. It made this series stand out even more - I do love myself a good mafia book but the sexism in it always gets on my nerves, so this series was just perfect. 

Konstantin proved himself to be the love of my life. In every way. 
As for Elena, she is so strong and fierce. She is intelligent and such a fresh character. I loved her connection with nature and how she was a scientist. And her as a mother? So beautiful. 

A woman running through the woods barefoot? Iconic, if you ask me.

Now I’ll just go and tattoo on my body the following quote: 
“When you laugh, the sun rises in your eyes”. That’s it. 

After this long and messy review, there’s only one thing left to do:

i absolutely loved this ending to the book! we got to see the family’s heas and enjoy life without the threat of the toothless on their heads. i rarely write reviews but this book was soooo good. we got domestic scenes and soft konelena moments! i dont think 5 stars would be enough. im excited for the rest of this series (and mostly my natasha’s)
