Gotham Academy: Second Semester
Reviews

Woo, Gotham Academy is back to form! In this 4th volume, we start with Olive alone over the holidays until she unexpectedly gains a brash new roommate. Said roommate starts to drive a wedge between Olive and her friends which becomes a problem when a new mystery arises and Maps is mind controlled! Obviously, the narrative is building up to the finale of next book. I enjoyed the unreliable narrator trope in this book, despite the obvious hints. I also really appreciated the return to a more serious mystery. Sad to see the series end, but excited to read the next volume!

I was so excited to get an opportunity to read Gotham Academy! I had heard a lot about the series, and it definitely not disappoint. In a lot of ways it is YA, but it also deals with some pretty heavy topics. If you're into the lore of Batman this is a great ready as it covers a lot of background in the series. Thanks to DC and Netgalley for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
