Solid conclusion

No complaints. At his usual best. The war is well orchestrated and the pacing is perfect. I only wish there was more but things come to a solid conclusion.

I had a lot of fun reading this final entry in the series, but much like a good friend, it felt like it overstayed its welcome near the end. I feel like the author tried so hard to not have another book that hell or high water everything made it in this book. There was so much detail that some scenes seemed to drag, and the frantic pace that plot threads were resolved was a little hard to follow at times. Still a solid conclusion to the series, if a bit long.

What the AQGJHLAJDHGKIUADGUFUDADGUKSDYGH. This book was amazing. The last 400 pages or so had my mind reeling. I laughed. I cried. I oo'ed. I ah'ed. I had times where I wanted to launch the book across the room from anger. I has moments that made me want the book to never end... I am still at a loss for what emotions I am feeling, but all I know is I may cry if Brent Weeks doesn't write another series ASAP.

It feels bittersweet to finish a series that I started 4 years ago and kept up with as books were released.. overall this was a rollercoaster read and didn't finish how I expected but I am mostly satisfied and look forward to more in the future from Brent.

LOVE this series so much. I am sad it's over. I am a very satisfied fan. Everything was wrapped up nicely. I hope he writes more books about the other worlds! 

The "real ending" I'm definitely not counting. Nope. Nuh-uh. I personally think it's the author messing with us. Which I like. I think.

Long, epic, and beautiful ending to an excellent (but imperfect) series. While maybe a bit predictable, I loved the worldbuilding and answers to Big Questions we got about the mythos of the Lightbringer universe. The losses hurt but were earned and the prophecies fulfilled.
