 “Mind your mettle, Tessa.”  This was really fun and so much better than a curse so dark and lonely. I haven’t been able to read a lot of fantasy lately, but this was great because the world building was done really well and not overly complicated. And the romance was lovely (I did guess the plot twist tho), I’m always a fan of friends to lovers and the betrayal trope. However, my favorite part was seeing how close the brothers were and their bond was really wholesome.
