These three volumes contain scientific descriptions and measurement data on lizards in the British Museum of Natural History. There are 40 plates detailing diagnostic anatomical features. The cumulative index is at the end of volume three. This is a scholarly, taxonomic work. Note the original publication date is 1885-87.
