Sloan is new in town and wanting to start her life over after catching her fiance and best friend together. She uprooted her life and moved to Texas after inheriting a house from a mother she never knew. A set of rules will help her achieve her goals and stay away from another broken heart. Her new neighbour, Dallas, wants nothing to do with getting to know her, he has his own heartache to deal with. But once these two are forced to work together at Dallas's bar, things take a turn! 

This is my first Brittany Taylor read and I'm very impressed!
The sexual chemistry between these two is off the charts! I love how confident Sloan is with Dallas, and while it's a little more tame on the spice than I usually read, it had enough to keep my interest! I enjoyed the character progression and how everything unfolded. I absolutely can't wait to read more in this series.
