Until I Found You: A Second Chance Romance

Until I Found You is nothing like I expected it to be, but I mean this in such a wonderful way! If you read romance, we're all familiar with the second chance romances, but Halle and Graham are different somehow. I was sucke into this story from page one and couldn't put it down! In all honesty, I haven't read all the books in this series yet, but that didn't bother me at all while reading this story. It's clear the author talks about characters from previous books. I love that she does that, because a lot of the times I am just dying for a little more information about characters I have come to love. Graham is back in Arbor Creek after five years and he knows not to expect everything to just turn back to how it was all those years ago. The only thing that hasn't changed are his feelings for the woman he let get away. Graham may seem like a jerk to some, but there is so much more under that macho layer. He's sweet, romantic and most of all protective of who and what he loves. He just need to learn how to let go of his demons and forgive himself for something he had no control over. Halle is still hurt after everything five years ago. She won't deny her feelings, but Graham can't just walk in like everything is okay either. She is kind, but independent and I love how she was teasing Graham. Halle is a great friend and definitely deserves a happily ever after! Until I Found You is about letting go of the past, letting yourself love and most of all forgiving yourself and others for something you can't control. On top of the amazing romance, Brooke O'Brien gives us some suspense and mystery on top of it. I loved this added element and it was in perfect balance with the romance aspect in this story. The flashback to events so many years ago really helped me understand so much more and it was written in a way you can feel the emotions. Halle and Graham may have not seen each other for over five years, but there feelings are still there. I loved how easily they fall back into a pattern with the other. Also, it's clear their relationship isn't perfect and that is something I love seeing in books! Besides the great romance and a bit of suspense, this book also has a great group of friends! I think that had me laughing most of all! All in all, Until I Found You is a great read! I can't wait for the next book.
