A very heavy book to read that circles around topics that may be uncomfortable reading about. Personally not a fan of unnatural things and there are some parts in the end that did not satisfy me

Read this alongside A Raisin in the Sun, which I highly recommend doing. It’s a story about the family in Clybourne Park whose home the Youngers were planning to buy in the original play, A Raisin in the Sun. Act 1 is set in the 60’s and Act 2 in modern day as Clybourne Park is being gentrified. Interesting characters and a beautiful, overarching story with a powerful ending. The only difficult part about reading it was the natural and therefore chaotic dialogue. Lots of characters talking over each other. I had to memorize them all to keep them straight.
