This book had way too much name-dropping and explanations for my taste, I was utterly lost. I can appreciate info dump in other books but I guess when it comes to historical fiction, it goes way over my head. Also this book jumped around a lot between time periods which just confused me even more. I think this is the last historical fiction book that I try to read, it just doesn't interest me.
