Elijah&Bria - I love a female serial killer, I really liked the cult theme and revenge. The plot twist was also really good, it did get very slow in the middle which made the ending feel rushed but overall really enjoyed it.

If Brynne weaver has a hand in it - I’m reading it!!

This book was so good! Lots of twists and turns to keep you engaged and the spiceeeeeee was right!!!

So many twists and turns but this book was amazing! I 100% recommend this book! The story was told perfectly and made it hard to put it down. I also love books from two points of views, so this was a win!

Anstatt die 365 Seiten zu lesen, hätte ich auch einfach einen Porno und gleichzeitig ne Doku über gruslige Kulte anschauen können ☠️

This was a really interesting read. I like the characters a lot in the book. The only reason it didn’t get a higher rating was that it felt like something was missing. It just felt like there was a piece that wasn’t clicking for me to really fall head over heels for the book. There was lot to the plot that felt heavier and not just based on the topics but by how much there was. I still really like the overall story just sometimes felt like there was so much to keep track of. I really love Bria and she really made the whole book for me she was so entertaining. Then Samuel was a close second behind and the familial relationship between the two was just so wholesome. I did like Eli and Bria and the instant attraction the two had but the loathing there was at the same time. There were some plot points I didn’t see coming which was nice while I was reading. I really liked it and can’t wait to read more of Brynne Weaver’s work soon!

Estoy entre encantada y decepcionada de este libro.

Cuando supe que tenía a una asesina como protagonista dije I'M IN, y sí, efectivamente esa parte no me decepcionó. Considero que las autoras crearon una sólida historia con investigación. 

Bria por sí sola es tremenda, inteligente, fuerte, sin miedo a nada, calculadora. Me gustó demasiado que no dejó que nadie la pisoteara ni pasara por encima, mucho menos Eli.

Eli también es un gran personaje pero siento que no lo desarrollaron para alcanzar su potencial. Las autoras pudieron haber optado porque Eli abrazara el lado oscuro y psicópata que tenía, que cazara junto con Bria. Pero no, todo apuntaba a ese momento, pero jamás llegó. Eso es uno de los motivo por los cuales me siento decepcionada.

Había mucha química entre Bria y Eli, me gustó demasiado la parte románica de este libro y el smut. Déjenme decirles algo; he leído libros como smut por años y es muy difícil que me sorprendan en esta parte con algo nuevo PERO OMG EL SMUT DE ESTA HISTORIA, me sorprendió la verdad, sobre todo la parte kinky que tiene Eli.

Ahora, tiene muchas cosas parecidas a Mindfuck, en el buen sentido, o eso creo.
Tenemos a la protagonista con un pasado doloroso que vuelve para tomar venganza.
Tenements al protagonista trabajando con el FBI.
Tenemos que la protagonista también recibe ayuda de alguien, en este caso su tío que caza junto con ella.
Tenemos que la protagonista es mil veces más inteligente que el protagonista.
Y tenemos ese final, que sí me gustó, pero es un poco demasiado parecido a Mindfuck. Porque aquí también el protagonista le regala a “alguien” para que la protagonista lo case, como regalo de boda. 

Vale, hasta aquí el libro me ha parecido bueno. Pero llegamos al final. El final fue demasiado rápido, literalmente dejaron inconclusas muchísimas cosas que jamás te dicen cómo se resolvieron. Se suponía que a Bria la tenía que haber cuestionado el FBI, y de alguna forma sabemos qué pasó y se inventaron la historia de que había sido secuestrada PERO JAMÁS TE MUESTRAN ESA ENTREVISTA. Y era súper necesaria para cerrar esta parte de la historia. Es muy molesto ver como apenas mencionan qué pasó, ni siquiera directamente, solo por una frase que dice Bria sabemos cómo salió del problema del FBI.

Y ese es mi principal problema con este libro, apuntaba a una lectura de 4-5 estrellas, pero ese final me decepcionó.

Anyways, amé BriaEli con locura, que pareja. 💘

Why is this book hyped up? The prose is ridiculously bad, MC is just so not like other girls, love interest falls for her in such a predictable, unsurprising way... This is telephoned, exaggerated and boring, even the spice is cring. Don't waste your time.
