Really accessible in its discussion of healthcare and TBIs. Also heartbreaking in the choices made, the struggle between protecting + raising your child and loving + caretaking your spouse through sickness and health.  

This book whacked me emotionally. Cathy Crimmins’ writing style is concise and simultaneously captures so much at once. Highly recommend, despite the difficulty for me to read. The world benefitted for Cathy Crimmins being in it, and her passing some years after this book is really sad.
