Bully/dark does not mean rape and I wish u sick fucks would get that through ur fucking skulls The bully must be redeemable at the end of the book and rapists are never redeemable. It's like authors are in a competition to see who can write the most shock value. 70% in the book and all he has managed to do was be a rapist and almost made her die and then when she almost dies he's back again to trade basic necessities for sexual favours. I felt like shit reading this and then the author went way pass the line by making him a rapist who thinks his sister deserves more respect than Aspen. The funny thing is I'm a 100% sure that if anything was to happen to Scarlet he would fly in kicking and we the readers should be awestruck by his chivalry. He's a sick fuck who picks on people weaker than him and him and his entire family are all fucking losers.

Oh my god, I am in love with this book! As soon as I finished it I immediately bought the second in the series to start as I NEED to know what happens next. It sent me on an emotional rollercoaster, between rooting for them to sort their s**t out and being so disappointed in Q’s behaviour, as if it personally affected me somehow. I’m definitely attached to these characters and can’t wait to see what else is in store for them! Just let it be known however there is major TW’s needed for SA and violence! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I didn't expect this book to be that good lmao. I got this on my secret santa list, and I was excited because it was on my tbr and I was finally going to read it. So... King Of Corium is a young adult dark enemies to lovers romance. It follows the story of Aspen and Quinton and ping-pongs between their points of view. Is it dark? I expected it to be way worse, honestly. The one scene shocked me!!! But other than that it was ordinary mafia enemies to lovers. I don't agree with the projection of the female main character in this book, and the way she had to be "saved" multiply. I personally think it would have been better if she was portrayed stronger, instead of the damsel in distress type situation that was going on. The plot twist!!!! Oh my GOOOOODDD! I was like 20 pages from the end, and they were not yet in love. And I was panicking! But I found out its part of a series, and am I going to read book two? Umm yeah duuh. The plot, was very predictable. Very very like oh yeah I saw that coming miles away. And the author has a horrid way of foreshadowing. "I feel like something bad is going to happen" yeah no shit aspen. Should you read it? No. Unfortunately despite how much I enjoyed this (I started reading this yesterday and binged it through the night. It's midday where I am), I think it's something that you can live without reading. It got slow and extremely repetitive Alot. PS: I don't know Matteo, and I know this is fiction. But if I ever see that cheeky muthafxcker
