That One Summer is, hands down, without question, my favorite of the Summer series. You know how sometimes a series loses is luster the further you get into it? The opposite has happened with this one. I love each book more than the last. I love each of the Onslow boys, but there’s just something extra special about Chris.

Chris is the star of this book. He’s intrigued me from the moment he first appeared in the series and I was so excited he was getting his own book. In the other books, he came off as moody and serious. There is so much more to Chris than that. He was sweet, sexy and charming in this book. My crush on him grew 10x during this book. Tammy was a great female lead and a perfect match for Chris. The combination of friendship and chemistry brought them, and their relationship, to life.

The other thing I loved about That One Summer was that it brought together some of my favorite characters from the previous books in the series. It was wonderful to get caught up on what’s been going on with Toby and Tess and Sean and Amy. The story was engrossing, the characters wonderful, the romance sweet and the love scenes sexy; everything I want in a new adult contemporary. I can’t wait for Adam and Ellie’s story in the next book, Forever Summer.
