This book started slow for me but in the end it didn't disappoint. There are lot of characters in this book and a lot of twist and turns. You had to pay attention or you were lost in the story. About 50% I couldn't book the book down. I have to find out what happened to the family. 
The Mackenzie family has been through hell and back. When the family moves into the house haunted things start to happen. It did remind me a little bit of haunted hill. (Just a little) I did enjoy this horror story.
