The Princess Bride

I was so excited to read this book but it fell flat for me. 💔 

For a reimagining of Legally Blonde in a medieval fantasy setting I was expecting more. The plot had a lot of potential but not the energy to back it up.

The pacing felt uneven with some scenes dragging forever while the ones I actually cared about were rushed.

The character development didn’t hit the way I wanted it to. I kept waiting to really connect with the main characters or feel something for the romance but it all just stayed flat. 

By the time I finished, I just felt kind of… meeeeh. Not terrible but nothing that really stuck with me. 

A solid 2.5 stars for some cute moments and a creative concept but the plot just didn’t deliver the way I hoped it would.
