Holy Moly, Clint and Lydia are getting put through the wringer. Clint and Lydia have been in their HEA bubble for the last five years but something seems to hold them back from taking the final plunge into Matrimony. The other teammates are settling down and even having kids but there is just something...off with why these two haven't done the same. When Clint gets injured during a mission, his TBI is going to bring some big changes. There is no doubt that these two love each other but can they finally, truly, open up to each other? OMW I wanted to reach in and smack the pair of them! Clint's personality does such a 180 that you wonder what on Earth has been sitting in the back of his brain just waiting to come out! And Lydia, usually the Dork Queen is my spirit animal. But good grief the secrets and the guilt that she is carrying around! An emotional roller-coaster ride with heart-wrenching, soul-baring scenes. There is still humour peppered through, especially with the team banter which manages to balance out the more challenging emotions. Superb writing, great characters and a brilliant way to see what can happen "off page".
