While this isn't a book I would typically pick up (being a 24 year old with little connection to the main character), it pleasantly surprised me. No, this isn't some magical book about a women who turns invisible, but rather a book that took the metaphor literally on how the older women in our life become invisible and we don't even notice. I finished this book in a quick morning and it kept the pages turning. Sure, some parts were a far reach and some parts were a little cringy (Vlad's mother), but overall I did enjoy it. If you're looking for a quick book to read that will keep you entertained and provoke some thoughts, this is a great choice.
