What a ride. I had to put the book away after chapter 17 because I needed things to sink in. I've never had that with any book. Never. The main thing I loved was the rivalry between Ryiah and Darren, and I loved the scenes between the two of them. I wonder what the last book has in store for Dariah. And Derrick. Lovely Derrick. He has stolen my heart. He is just so perfect. I know I've said it before, but Rachel is such an underrated author, while her writing is impeccable. People should be more aware of authors like her, and they should get the attention they deserve. Go read this series. Now.
