I've been seeking some comedy in my life lately, and this book was exactly what the doctor ordered.

Candy Hearts by Tommy Siegel is an absolutely hilarious sets of comics featuring conversation hearts that have their thoughts written on them. It's insanely funny and had me chuckling and smirking as I read it. The comics are brutally honest and real (like one heart talking about himself and the other guy half listening but instead thinking about what he's gonna say himself). I seriously loved it! It's hard to find a good comedy book that makes me enjoy it the entire time, but this was it!

I highly recommend this book. If you want something fun, easy to read and completely sassy and sarcastic, this book works. If you just want to read a few little pages at a time, do it. If you want to binge the whole thing, you can! This isn't a book that you need to be glued to, but it's well worth every penny.

A really funny book about the reality behind romance

Yeah, I really liked this book. I read I hope this helps by Tommy Siegel and I liked it but not that much so I visited his Instagram profile to see what he was doing now. And I saw the candy hearts stories. I think that most of them are really funny and true. Like they are funny because it states the reality. I liked how the candy hearts always had different coloured because it makes it a bit gender-neutral in a way, even though sometimes my brain associated a candy heart with a gender. If you start reading this book, you will read it really fast, even in one sitting because first of all it’s not that long and because each panel contains its own story so it doesn’t feel long at all. I recommend this book to adults mostly.

What we all need during Covid is a hearty giggle.
I loved Tommy Siegel's previous comic "I Hope This Helps: 500 Days of Comics and Extremely Helpful Guides".
And he even sneaks in some poignant moment and awkward truths.
Really liked it!
Akin to the Awkward Yeti and Sarah Scribbles.
If you want to giggle get this book now!
