Reviews

The s3x scenes in the first 3 books have felt like Suzanne hit copy and paste on them then switched up the order a tiny bit π , but at least the story lines have been different from enough!

Mainly as I felt the lack of the pack to start, and I missed them. However, I did find it a fun read all in. Tbh, it does feel a touch like the author knows only how to write sarcastic feisty females, but hey it works for her. I did like this one with the danger coming from human extremists and it is in interesting way to go. Maybe Shaya did test Nick too much, but I understood perfectly why she felt the need. But, one thing that is starting to bug me, what is it with how the author portrays every other female, unless she has had a book or will get a book. They are, each and every one, shifter or human, bitchy and horrible. In book 1, we had whats her face being horrible to Taryn, before she moved to another pack, book 2, there was some random female at Dante's brothers birthday party, his ex, his other ex, all who are beyond cartoony evil and insult the heroine left right and centre. This book we had the human hairdresser, Nick's healer who was a lying manipulative cow. The heroines mom is horrible. I do not get it.
