Death at Dawn

June 1837. The king has just died and 18-year-old Victoria is now on the throne. Liberty Lane is sent to Calais to retrieve her father's body after receiving an anonymous note. In her quest to learn the truth of her father's murder, she finds an unhappy marriage, damaged children, more murder, an elopement, and a treasonable plot.
