Until Tomorrow

In 1885, 18-year-old Rebeccah Collins of Waterville, Maine, travels to visit her aunt and uncle in Pennsylvania. When she was eight years old, her mother and baby brother died in childbirth and her father, unable to cope, disappeared. Rebeccah, raised by her maternal grandparents, had received no word from her father in ten years and had become bitter toward God. On the train to Pennsylvania, Rebeccah meets a young man, Dan Winthrop, whose family owns several jewelry stores. Dan is severely wounded protecting Rebeccah during a train robbery, and her heirlooms, a gold locket and ring, are taken by the bandits. A romance develops, but complications arise because Dan's parents pressure him to marry the daughter of a close friend. There is further conflict and suspense when news of Rebeccah's father, who is seriously ill, is received. Can a relationship survive when faced with so many problems?
