This was so a wonderful, magical story.

I found this story both wonderfully magic and filled with such beauty. I love the story's concept and found the story to be incredibly moving and different to anything I've read before. 

I loved the meaning behind this story, friendship and trust. The bond between these two enslaved characters grew throughout, and it was beautiful to watch them grow to trust each other. Although there were doubts and struggles, these two characters found their way back to each other, and it made my heart swell. 

The ending was just beautiful and made me tear up a little. I will definitely listen to the remaining books in this series as the story was wonderful and definitely, something I want to continues experiencing!

I read this book years ago and loved it so much, even though I never got around to reading the rest of the series (one day). I couldn't remember the title for the longest time, and I think the idea of a "long-lost book" has upped my fantasy of how amazing it was. I have no problems with this. It deserves more recognition.

A nice continuation of the story of Ping, the dragon keeper. Not quite as good as the first one, but I was happy to read more. I love the historical aspects of this series.
