I'm both excited but also sad to be starting this series because it is the last that is part of the Zodiac Academy world. But this was action-packed from page one to the last one, and as usual, I had to pick up the second book right after. I do like exploring the prison that everyone fears and that we have had small glimpses of already. Also, following Rosalie, I think she is the perfect character because we know her the best, and she was honestly amazing in this book.  Essentially, this is a story full of alphas and alphaholes, and the ultimate prison break from the impenetrable prison. So, yeah, this is going to be so good, and I just know I am going to be bingeing it.

What do you do when the man you’ve loved since you were fourteen is sent to the most dangerous prison in Solaria for saving your life?

Okay, so maybe he doesn’t love me back. And maybe getting sent down would seem insane to some, butI’m Rosalie Oscura, alpha werewolf from the infamous Oscura Clan. My family wrote the book on criminal organisations, and I’ll be ruling this place by the time the next moon rises.

Then I just need to work on busting us the hell out of here. ‘Us’ being me, the lion shifter I’ve loved for ten long years, and the most notorious criminal in here - a sinful incubus who’s been condemned to isolation for committing an unspeakable crime.

What’s the worst that could happen? I mean, short of being rejected by the black-hearted werewolf who rules over my sworn enemies, or getting myself noticed by the sinister vampire guard who has a dark vendetta against me. But how likely is that?

The trouble is, I need the help of those four alpha males to escape this place. And they happen to hate each other almost as much as they hate me.

But I always did love a challenge. So how hard could it be to make them accept me as their leader?

Could have been written better.. the story is interesting and I would like to see how it unfolds.

I was so happy when I heard that Rosalie was going to get her own series--she is scrappy, brilliant, sensual, and hilarious--and in the hall of fame of Caroline & Susanne heroines as far as I'm concerned. 

We get a lot of great relationship dynamics and tropes here, including friends-to-lovers, age-gap, enemies-to-lovers, and forbidden romance. We also get my literal favorite character trope of "psychotic himbo" in Sin Wilder, and his antics really elevated this to the next level in my opinion. 

This is an absolute must-read and I can't wait to see where this series goes next!
