3.5 Stars! I really really REALLY wanted this to be a five star read for me, so much so that I pre-ordered it instead of just reading it on KU. It was a good book, but I found the story line to not keep me as interested as I liked. There was so much going on, almost too much even for an almost 900 page book. I think I just haven't been in the mood for mafia as of late so I may revisit! 

Also didn't appreciate Anya breaking Benny's rules, specifically after she knew he was Benny.

The twisted sisters have done it again. This baby is THICK so buckle up and hang on because your in for a ride.

They write THE BEST heroines and Anya is no different. She is so strong and sure of herself. She knows her worth and won’t let anyone tell her different. 

Benny, Church and Frank. They’re ruthless and cutthroat. The bond between the three of them is amazing. No matter the issues of their past they were always going to come back to each other. 

Anya softens them but in the best ways, but she also strengthens them. The four of them together are unstoppable.

If you’re not aware, this is part of a shared world mafia series of interconnected standalones, each covering the arranged marriage between two mafia families. FMNB is Anya of the Vegas Bratva and Danny Butcher of the London Firm. Or so she thinks. Turns out Danny is batshit crazy and set his twin brother Benny up and sent him to prison for 10 years. Benny does a little swaperoo on wedding day and takes Anya as his beloved bride, while she’s none the wiser.

This book is THICC AF but it’s divided into three parts, which made it feel fast paced and easily digestible. It’s also British af—especially the way Church and Benny (but mostly Church) speak. Honestly at some points when Benny was speaking I heard Jason Statham’s voice in my head and that made it even better bc I was laughing my ass off.

One thing I adore about the twisted sisters is that their FMCs are always bad bitches who can handle anything. Anya is one of the baddest FMCs I’ve read in a while, and I was obsessed with her attitude, style, and humor. Anya uses music as her own brand of therapy, and I’d highly recommend listening to the book playlist while reading for total immersion.

TLDR: I fucking loved this and can’t recommend enough!
