elise is officially one of my favs! she's so badass but at the same time there's a deep sadness and loneliness in her that makes me want to hug her

i like all the guys but my main is forsure gabriel <3

 follows Elise Callisto who come to Aurora academy to avenge her brother, Gareth.  She knows that one of the four of the academy Kings was the killer, but who?  Her mission is to find out who's responsible for her brother's death and make him pay.

Starting with the characters, I liked Elise. She's strong and she knows it, doesn't take shit from anyone but also has a vulnerable side to her that makes her more real. Granted, the authors could've made her character way better but it's still better than the 'weak, hopless new girl' persona that I'm used to.

As for the male characters, we've got a bunch of fcked up psychos. Let me introduce y'all to: 

Gabriel dull-af-Harpy, spends his time starring at nothing and lost on his mind and might have a severe case of schizophrenia. 

Leon lazier-than-a-sloth-Lion, has a group of Mendy-s( girls whose names are not Mendy but he calls them that because "it's easier to remember") that do everything, literally everything, for him. 

Dante pretty-face-with-no-personality-Dragon,  heir to the Oscura Clan. That's it, I know nothing about him. 

Ryder I-only-feel-pain-and-lust-Basilisk, heir to the Brotherhood Clan with serious mental health problems.

The book was slow in general, the setting weird (there's two rival gangs at the academy as if it's a normal thing), the attraction between Elise and the guys was so instantaneous that it's ridiculous and the ending was random af so why am I rating it this high? 

That's the problem. At some point I found myself actually enjoying and looking forward to Leon's playfulness, Dante's Italian, Ryder's scowling face and even guessing what side of Gabriel I'll get, the nice or rude one. 

I wanted to know who's Gareth's killer so badly that I inhaled his flashbacks, I ate up every single detail that I got from the guys POVes about them and loved seeing Elise in action even tho those were few and far in between.

The dynamic between these four guys has nothing to do with an RH group, they hate each other's guts( specially Ryder &  Dante) so I'm curious to see how they'll come to 'co-exist' and even 'share' together so yes, I'm reading the next book and can already see myself even finishing the series. Apparently I have high bullshit tolerance🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok a bit of a slow start and some slow moments at times, but overall, I really liked this!

I’m excited to see where this story is gonna go and I can’t wait for the relationships to develop in the books to come. 

Also, Gabriel is #1 right now. That is all.

If you are a Zodiac Academy fan this might be right up your alley. It is in Solaria. 
Elise is out for blood after her brother dies and is told that it is of an overdose.
You meet the four kings, Dante the Dragon, Ryder the Basilisk and loves pain, Gabriel the Harpy and Leon the Lion. The struggle is real with the ups and downs through the book with the boys. You will feel one way one moment and a different way the next. There is a slow burn of romance with all the boys. And there is a pretty funny part. I love that there are some easter eggs through out it that have to do with Zodiac Academy. The last chapter had me on the edge of my seat. I can not wait to start the next book in the series.
