I don’t really know how to rate this book, it was super long and like the others in the series it was long winded at times with parts that didn’t need to be in there and could’ve been left out

I really started to dislike Elise and found all of her pov’s really annoying, she read to me that her brother and that plot was an after thought and she cared more about having sex all the time (felt like a lot of the time there was more spice than plot which isn’t really my bag) Also there were some really great parts that kept me hooked before it went back to being boring again (capturing king was a highlight & the gang fight with Scarlett and all the pitball chapters were a drag

The best part BY FAR of the whole series was Ryder. I love that man! His character development from gang boss to house husband is amazing and I just love that we see him become so open and part of a family- he was who I kept reading for

I laughed. I cried. I made this face 🥺 Honestly the plot as always in this series was in shambles. The Gareth storyline, the King storyline, the rivalry between the gangs. Forget it. Elise is still 🥵 sex 😭 Gareth 🥵 sex 😠 need revenge 🥵 sex. I. Do. Not. Care. The boys though 🥰 🦁 Leon. I still don’t see him as a love interest but fuck is he funny. My god I haven’t laughed so much in a book in a long time. Like genuine laugh out loud. The scrapbook. The tiny hat photoshoot. Boyfriends-in-law. Stealing stuff from Ryder’s pockets. Him meeting Bill. The banter with everyone. The Elise-ian mate party. Hilarious 🐍 Ryder. I cried when Gabriel was sure he was going to die and then his death played out and I fucking fell for it. Like sobbing. He’s by far my favourite in the harem. The constant Disney references have me down bad. When he called Eugene Ratatouille💀. Then we got Frozen and Little Mermaid references. And the tattoos for his new alias I’m obsessed! Although I know they were Disney tattoos but I wish the tattoo for Gabriel had been Big Bird from Sesame Street because that’s what he calls him. Him bonding with Periwinkle was so cute! And his chat with Rosalie and giving her the tattoo to cover her scars. The way he supports Elise in quiet ways is everything. But his relationship with Leon has to be my favourite. The ‘prank’ in the most fucked up way was so wholesome. Then when he sung Hakuna Matata, and when he had to give himself a new identity he chose a Lion shifter to really be the Scar to Leon’s Mufasa. ♏️ Gabriel. I adore Gabriel. I’m so mad that his bond with Elise was left to so late in the series BUT that scene at zodiac with Orion, some protein balls and a rather large 🍆 was the funniest thing I’ve read. Having him introduce the harem to Bill was so sweet I’m glad he has him and I hope we get a Bill cameo in ZA to meet the other members of his family. The way he used the sight makes me laugh and the others trying to hide things from him. But oh my stars when he built the house in the epilogue living out his little Harpy nesting dreams it was so cute. Dante still is nothing for me. He’s still just 🇮🇹⚡️⛈ and nothing else. The Italian is annoying like stop saying stronzo just say asshole. If I’d been reading this as a physical book, instead of kindle, needing to translate things would have driven me insane. The epilogues… I liked the pitball game and finding out Elise and Leon would go pro. I liked the wedding. I loved Gabriel building them a home and finding out what sent him to Zodiac Academy. I did not need the children, or their order forms, or their high school crushes and eventual mates. Or the boys being overprotective dads to a teenage girl. I could have MAYBE handled one tiny mention of a baby and them watching the Lion King as a family but no we got full blown family life and I hated it. And I certainly did not fucking need Ryder becoming a house husband. My man went through some personal growth but he did not become domestic! What the fuck was that! I don’t need to think about him doing the laundry. Ugh why did that epilogue happen. Rating The plot, Elise, Dante and the epilogue ⭐️ The Disney references and the bromance between Gabriel/Ryder/Leon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
