It is a cute sports romance. If you like baseball and romance stories wrapped up into one, this is definitely something to check out. 

Although the story of Gretchen and Travis was really cute, after the time jump the story felt busy. Going from the first half of the story where it was focused only on them and their connection to the second half where they were seeing major events happening one after the other, it just felt like a lot. I understand it happens in real life, but it left the book feeling uneven from the first half to the second half. 

Although I felt the second half was a little bit much, the story itself was cute, and I think for sports and romance fans it is a good book. (you don’t need to know everything about baseball but knowing nothing might make it a little confusing at times)
