This was nice but got me asking, why am I reading these books again?
I think I started because they were the only half-decent audiobooks available on my library, and then kept on going because they are light, simple and quick to read, helping me completing my 2020 challenge.

But after reading 7 of them, I think I am ok. I am way past the target age, they don't hold any nostalgic memory for me as I never read them before, and in 2020 much of these books is a bit outdated.

This one was once again nice, we got to meet Ned Nickerson, who spoke to Nancy twice before SCREAMING after her car something like "You girls haven't seen the last of me, I know the road to River Heights and you mustn't be surprised if I follow it one of these days".
Man, the 1930s were really something else. And don't get me started on the justice system!

I think the premise of this was interesting but it got lost along the way with all the depiction of the poor family and in the too many pages about going to the Swedish baker who was then brought to the hospital.

The resolution was satisfactory enough, but what I got from all these books is that the mystery is...barely there? Nancy doesn't do that much sleuthing and the culprit is usually so obvious that it takes away most of the enjoyment and thrill mystery novels should have.

While I don't regret finally getting to know about Nancy Drew and her adventures, I will focus on my lovely collection of Agatha Christie novels.
