This book wasnt as good as the other two.. But it had some plot twist u Didnt see coming and it was a perfect ending of the serie!

** spoiler alert ** I really really loved this series. It helped me regain my love for books. The way Roux writes and incorporates the photos is absolutely fantastic. But, the ending. I wish there was a final chapter that officially tied all three books together. Like there was stuff connecting the corporation to Brookline, but there wasn't something connecting it to make it important. Almost like reading a research essay and the writer gives all the evidence to support, but doesn't tie them together, and create a strong conclusion out of it. But that doesn't waver my love for the first.

3.75 Surprisingly, I liked this one the best of the trilogy. It had the most movement plot line wise and I feel like the villain was more fleshed out and there were actual plot points that had me on the edge of my seat. It continued the creepy vibes of the first two books but I think it excelled in character work and plot above the other two. cover 3; character 4; plot 4; pace 4; writing 3; enjoyment 4.

There were frequent plot skips and some parts just didn't make sense. Things seem to happen very conveniently for Roux's characters without a coherent explanation as to why. In my opinion, Roux spent too much time in the book with events that didn't matter as much, so the climax felt rushed and had holes in it.
