You’ll Never Kill in This Town Again Vacation Mysteries #4

Bestselling mystery writer and erstwhile amateur sleuth Eleanor Dash finds herself on the trail of another murderer, this time in glitzy LA, in Catherine Mack's fourth witty Vacation Mystery. Eleanor Dash has one simple wish: a little peace to plan her wedding to the love of her life and fellow author, Oliver Forrest. After being involved in not one, not two, but three murder plots in the last six months, Eleanor needs a break! She's even seriously considering giving up writing—at least writing anything murder-related. Unfortunately, she can't start her sabbatical until she completes her last promotional obligation: a one-day bus tour of Los Angeles's most famous murder spots. Even worse, someone on the bus is going to die. Because of course they are. Joining Eleanor and Oliver on the bus her sister and former assistant, Harper, who's recording the whole thing for her newly launched podcast; Connor Smith, the protagonist of her books and antagonist of her life who's been publishing rom-coms lately even though he's never given anyone an HEA; Eleanor's editor, Vicki, whose career is hanging by a thread; Vicki's boss, Glinda, who's stressed to the max about a possible Venture Capital takeover of the publishing company; Eleanor's film agent, Rich, who's touting his newest client; Adam, an up-and-coming screenwriter who'd love to option Eleanor's book; and Devin Hollister, Oliver's nemesis. Three years ago, Oliver was supposed to co-write a book with Devin about Agatha Christie's disappearance, told from Archie Christie's perspective. But the next thing Oliver knew, Devin sold the idea out from under him. When Devin is found dead, and Oliver becomes the prime suspect, Eleanor has no choice but to try to solve the crime before her love loses his freedom forever.
