A collection of 15 well formed commentaries brining the clitoris to the center of the conversation. Malabou touches on various aspects (aesthetics, political, woman as muse, sexuality, mutilation to name some) brining in the works of other great philosophers influencing the reader to question and bring the clitoris to the for front of these concepts. 

When picking up this book, I did not expect to find myself with a new understanding of two movies (Nymphomaniac I & II) watched years ago that originally left me unsure. I will be re-reading these pages, along with the referenced works, as I continue to expand and form my own thought in philosophy and feminism.
