The format of this ep is fun and fits this era of DW. Feels very Russel T. The story got a few chuckles out of me, and I did get a bit spooked - although I was listening to this whilst tidying room at 1AM with headphones. Highly recommended for the spooky factor. Overall the episode was well produced with a decent story. Giving it an extra half star just for the cheery wave of nostalgia that hit me hearing the whole S4 cast back together 6.5/10

A fun adventure! 6/10 It was a little cliche thematically but it fits well in the RTD era with the anti corporate theme. Nice enough setting, well paced and plotted with a satisfying enough ending. The aliens, although they had the copy paste voice filter a lot of big finish aliens seem to, were fairly interesting. And omg the little Judoon was so cute! Surprisingly, the way everything was resolved was fairly satisfying. These tenth Doctor adventures have had some bland conflicts and climaxes, happy to say this ep doesn’t suffer from any of that. I’d rate this one in the top half of all them, easily.

Eh... 4.5/10 It's not bad but I'd hope the ninth tenth doctor adventure to be a bit more ambitious by this point! With the 45-50ish minutes or runtime there plenty of time for a more ambitious story! I was fine with the first collection being a standard revisit of the fairly generic stories this era of Who produced, but this one failed to interest me. I thought the other two in this collection were much more imaginative in their world, monster, and format. For instance #1 in this collection had a beautiful world to imagine that would have likely broke the budget if it was done for TV. And the format for the second episode was a nice way to switch things up. But this one feels the most like a generic filler episode. It's not all bad. The banter was good in places, I always like references like "there's something on your back", and the history lesson here is interesting. Amazing how many tragedies are lost to history... It's always good when WHO can visit these time periods. And the side characters weren't terrible, I liked the old man selling vacuums. Normally I'd give a fairly normal WHO romp a recommend, but this one had some continuity issues that annoyed me. For instance, why do the first side characters 10 and Donna run into coincidently know eachother? Plus there doesn't seem to be sign of ANYONE ELSE in this smoggy English city. I didn't really buy that, although maybe I missed some logical reason that was so? More importantly, how come the girl working at the cinema so easily brush off the whole theatre having died??? That's morbid when you think of it. She just carries on with no trauma or further mention of the incident, nor does she try to report it to anyone... These issues lead to a lack of depth in the world and make the story hard to invest in. If you can ignore these or don't notice them I think you may enjoy it! Donna and ten are excellent as always. I'd rate this in the lower half of 10s BF adventures so far. From memory, the other 5 BF Donna/Ten stories are more interesting
