This book pulled me in from the begining. The main character had a kick ass attitude and showed a great range of emotion and depth to her. The world itself was really interesting in how it was handled regarding the mox of humans vs the supernatural. There were some unexpected twists and turns which always make a great story. I felt there were a few points in the plot structure that didn't make sense to me that I can't quite go into here without spoilers. The motivations of some of the characters were a little murky and didn't make sense. Their convictions didn't seem very strong to me. That was the only reason I couldn't give it a full five stars. Even with the slight issues I had above, this book is great and I just can't wait to read the next in the series!
