Comics AND cats. It's like this book was made for me! There isn't much more that gets me this excited and feeling like a child again!

This adorable comic collection by Matt Tarpley is lovely! It's the type of book you sit down with a cup of tea and a blanket and just feel good with. The illustrations are simplistic, but it only adds to the fun and nostalgia of this book. It gave me childhood cartoon vibes (but easily enjoyable by an adult audience)! The stories are sweet, short and highly amusing, leaving me giggling along the way. Honestly, it's the kind of positivity the world needs right now: funny cats.

Overall, this book is so lovely! It's silly, goofy, cute and fantastic. It's easy and quick to read, and will be enjoyed by kids and adults alike!

This was such an adorable, wholesome graphic novel with short panels that sensitively explores mental health issues. I loved the mental health rep and its normalization. It's tender and positive and shows the power of friendship, support, and love...and tons of coffee. All of the characters were so adorable and relatable. This is a gentle and supportive book that will definitely give you all the warm floofies. Definitely recommend.

Cat's Cafe is a collection of cute short comics that follow a feline barista and all his friends/customers. 

This comic is very wholesome! It has a lot of messages for older readers about dealing with fears and stress. I'm not sure younger readers would be able to get the messages but either way, it is very cute. 

If you're looking for something to make you smile, then this is the comic for you! It's necessarily fun but a lot of the stories are bound to make you smile! 

My favorite character was the over the top penguin who is completely obsessed with anything coffee. I also really adore Cat's assistant, the rabbit. Rabbit is not confident in himself at all but works every day to try to build it up a little. 

If you have kids or nieces/nephews who like comics, I definitely recommend this for them.

I think this is a super-friendly comic book for children of all age groups; especially, beginners who are first starting to learn how to read. The story does a great job of hitting on some pretty difficult topics; such as depression, the feeling of loneliness, and the importance of true friendship. Throughout the book, the reader is introduced to Cat, a coffee shop owner. Cat takes a lot of pride in providing top-notch service for all the guests who look at the coffee shop as a safe haven and as the epicenter for the growth of new budding friendships. Cat hires the first employee, Rabbit, who really looks up to Cat as a mentor. 

The book is broken up with many activities along the way, which not only stimulates the mind but makes things more fun and interesting for young readers. The creativity and artistic flow of the illustrations add to the overall experience and enjoyment of the story.
