Bloodguard

So this was my first fantasy where it tackled Gladiators and while I thought it was okay, it wasn’t the greatest book I have read either. What I ultimately experienced was me not losing focus and at some points getting bored during some parts of the book. It tried really hard to be action packed but I don’t think it executed it the best for me. The book also focused more on romance than on the fantasy storyline of the book. Which you would think I would have enjoyed it more but when its instalust 30 pages in the romance is something you don’t want to focus on for the entirely of this over 400 page book. I’m also not sure how there will be another book when there was a resolution with no build up for more but I guess we’ll see what happens there.
