Arrow's Hell

Arrow's Hell

From bestselling author Chantal Fernando, the second book in a sexy romance series featuring the bad boys of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club and the women who fall in love with them. Being the younger sister of a Wind Dragons MC member isn’t as great as you’d think it would be. I can’t escape the details of my brother’s exploits. No one tells me anything. Men who know who I am tend to stay away from me. And worst of all: the members of the MC are off-limits. When Arrow catches my eye, I make it my mission to make him happy again. When I fall head over heels in love with him, I just hope he will be there to catch me. And that my brother doesn’t kill him…

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance After reading Fallen Princess, which is book eight in the Wind Dragons MC series, I realized how far behind I had become in this series and I really love how Fernando writes MC romances, and I was in the mood for something less gritty in the MC world so I decided to do some catching up especially when I noticed that this series in the Audible Romance Package. Arrow’s Hell is book two of the series, and it features a MC member “Arrow” and our heroine is Anna. Anna is the sister of a MC member, and currently going to college working on her degree and even though she got a late start, she is more than happy going to school and learning. But when she begins to rebuild her relationship with her brother then she meets up with Arrow. Even though her brother doesn’t want her involved with any member of the MC, there is something that she finds compelling about Arrow. There is a dual attraction between Arrow and Anna. But Arrow is hesitant because he doesn’t want to break his vow with a brother, but the more he is around Anna, protecting her or escorting her to class he begins to fall in love with her and knows that she is worth the risk. I really had such a fun time with this book here and I adored the narrators. Even though its dual POV (we don’t see much of the hero’s perspective which I would have loved since it had Sebastian York narrating) however our female narrator did a superb job making this listener fall in love with Arrow’s Hell. I really love the whole forbidden romance that we have going on especially when its mixed in with the best friends sister type of trope. We see how well Anna fits into the club though and how she makes the perfect old lady. Anna is a firecracker, with a spine of steel, she is a fighter but she also has that sweet softspot that you adore. I loved seeing Arrow and Anna together and seeing them find a way for it to work with the club and her brother. The romance between these two is powerful and sweet and I really enjoyed seeing Arrow and Anna fully come together, it does happen slowly of course, since there is that forbidden line that they don’t want to cross but there is a sizzling bond that they can’t deny either. I love the fun bantering between them. Arrow is a grump and boy I loved that, he is more serious toned. But Anna, despite her childhood (not a good one with her mother being a drug addict) is so upbeat and happy and has loads of energy and she is determined to win over Arrow despite how stubborn he is. Overall I found Arrow’s Hell to be a delightful MC romance that gave me the feels and left my heart happy….a fun filled story you can get on board with!

OMG, Chantal Fernando has blew my mind away with her amazing yet simple writing style that it capture all of the characters emotions! She has create another fantastic yet addicting MC book that all of the reader will love every page of it. I am totally obsessed with her books already that I immediately love every chapter of Arrow's Hell except when Arrow is being a-whole. But the readers will finally get to read Arrow love journey that they will desperately waiting for. Arrow and Anna have a true love story but it will be challenging and complicated for them to have their relationship solid. Anna is a gorgeous women that she is also intelligent by getting her doctor degree in her hometown. She has finally come back home where her MC brother has been. Their relationship may be rough but the more time they spent together, the more they form closer connection. Anna is fond of her brother and his MC friends that one of them catch her eye. Anna is very attraction to Arrow however their passion will be a great challenge. Arrow is hot fine Alpha men but he is also grieve his loss over Mary that it becomes unexpected when he becomes very attracted to Anna. Arrow may be a-whole but it will take some times to figure out that they are meant for each other. They have hot and intense passion between them that it makes their romance much better! There will be some drama going on but it will more stop them from loving each other. Another great besr-seller!!!!! *Five Star*

Check out this and my other reviews at My Blog, Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest Copy received via netgalley in exchange for an honest review ★Book Basics★ Genre : - Cont Romance Series : - 2nd in the series. Love triangle? - (view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)] Cheating? - (view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)] HEA? - (view spoiler)[Yes (hide spoiler)] Would I read more by this author/or in this series? - Maybe Rating - 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars ★Review★ While I did enjoy this, I felt I sometimes struggled feeling a connection to the main characters. Normally, in all honesty I am not a fan of books where one of the main characters is grieving, but here it did not bother me so much, mainly as it had been a good numbers of years, and even in the first book, Arrow and his girlfriend were never exclusive so it did not feel like he was grieving for a lost love, more grieving for a friend and guilty as he could not have loved her in that way. But in saying that, I feel like this book could have benefited from some more Arrow POV other than the little we got. The heroine in this book felt almost like a carbon copy of the heroine in the first book ( both being portrayed as "clever" Kickass heroines, who are students, who become little sisters to the MC guys, being a bit mouthy etc) so some Arrow POV may have lessened this to an extent. All in it never really got too deep, lots of going back and forth, "I want you but cannot have you" etc. However, I did enjoy it but would have enjoyed it more if we had really got into the mind of Arrow, as opposed to the story being carried by a heroine who was very similar to the heroine in the first book.

I liked Arrow's Hell a little more than Dragon's Lair. It still suffered from some of the same problems as the first book in the series, but it did have one main problem for the main characters to overcome, even though it was not presented until late in the book. For an MC character, Arrow seemed awfully needy. Anna was a strong female lead, but I wondered how she managed to have a job, live with the MC's problems, and still have time to work on her PhD. Overall, though, this was a good story. The death of Mary in the previous book brought a lot of emotion to this story.
