Rake's Redemption

Rake’s Redemption is a story I have been pretty excited for and boy I love it when we see the playboy of the group get taken by love and this book was a lot more angsty than I was expecting but ironically this angst was really well done, one of the best enemies to lovers romances I have read in a long while and really enjoyed the explosive chemistry that is introduced into this story. Rake’s Redemption features our hero: Rake and our Heroine:Bailey. Bailey and Rake were high school sweethearts and then something happened, a huge misunderstanding occured between the two, Rake making a horrid assumption and Bailey not willing to tell him the full truth or not trying hard enough to have Rake know the real truth about what happened the one night that broke them apart after four years of being together. And for seven years Bailey has kept that secret from Rake. She has a six year old daughter that she has raised all on her own when the father turned out to be a dead beat dad and wanted her to abort it and Bailey refused. Now she is back in Rake’s territory and Rake is NOT happy. He believe that Bailey cheated on him but he can’t deny that he has never fallen out of love for her and even though he hates her on some level he still loves her too and it doesn’t bring out the best reactions in him. But when Bailey’s life is put in danger because of her connection to him, the truth becomes revealed and Rake takes the burden of what happened to Bailey and the guilt of never trusting her like he should have. Rake’s Redemption ironically is my favorite of the series so far, I just loved seeing these two come together and figuring out what the secret is. Now once you learn the truth and see Rake’s horrid reaction you see why Bailey never told him, she also knew it wasn’t Rake’s fault and never wanted him to bear the burden of it. We see the guilt that Rake begins to feel though when he learns the truth but this is where their relationship really blossoms in such a monumental way that is inspiring. I love seeing them work together to overcome their painful mistakes and judgments and try to make a go of it and learn each other again. Rake’s Redemption is a story that is so well written and I adored seeing them connect in such a wonderful way and yeah the sex is pretty hot both of them are insatiable and have seven years of catching up to do and Rake is a bit kinky in the bedroom and Bailey is up for that because she trust Rake more than anyone. I love seeing the bond that Rake has with Bailey’s daughter, its not overdone but brings a sweet tone to the story. Rake’s Redemption is a endearing romance that gives you all the feels!!! SATISFYING FROM BEGINNING TO END!

Chantal Fernando can always write fantastic MC romance series that you wilo count the days for the next release because you have already finish what she has release recently. She knows how to write such badass MC biker falling in love with their knees because they love hard and the mightest and the slutty biker, Rake, will fall that all reader waiting for. Oh, Rake is such sexy manwhore that he has no problem with the woman at all. But despite his player ways, he is feeling somewhat lost ever since he lost his true love, Bailey, in high school. But no worries, the past is coming back to Rake that he will get to reunited with his former love, Bailey. However, there is a lot of hurt between them that it makes it impossible for them to see each other. I definitely felt for them because they have unsolved issues between them that they need to talk about it so they can get closure. But they definitely make it hard too especially Rake. Rake definitely needs to step up and stop acting like a jerk wih Bailey if he wants to move on with his life. Bailey is beautiful single mother that she makes the best of everything no matter what for her daughter. And I definitely appreciate that from her. I was a little concern about Bailey character because she hurt Rake. But there was a lot to her that I could dislike her. She worked very hard to provide her child that I am proud. Plus, she rarely takes time to enjoy herself that it makes her a great mom. She also need to go out a little more so she can finally move on but Rake is having trouble with it that it makes Bailey more frustrated. Rake and Bailey have some issue between them that they need to sort out but they are both afraid too since it will revealed dark past secrets. But fate push them together when someone is gunning for Bailey that Rake is determined to protect them that they will finally have the talk between them that they are meant for. It will be dark times for them but they will reach each other because they have always love each other. Rake and Bailey will have some hot scenes together that it makes the read so much bettere. Plus, we will get to see a kinky side of Rake more! Rake's Redemption is the perfect redemption romance story that all reader will fall in love with. Five stars!

Rake and Bailey have a past. They were high school sweethearts and lovers before the night that left both of them feeling betrayed by the other. After seven years, Bailey reenters Rake's life and the problems that caused their split threaten to keep them apart. Bailey has a good life with her six year old daughter and doesn't want it disrupted by a Wind Dragons club member, but when their paths continue to cross, Bailey realizes that it's time that Rake finds out the truth about that night seven years before. Like the other books in the series, this one doesn't have any great depth of emotion or extremely complicated characters, but it does offer a sense of familiarity to those who like a romance story that takes place within a motorcycle club - another good entry into the Wind Dragons MC series.
