** spoiler alert ** First off.. š„° Wow this author knocked my socks off! Really loved the writing style. I didnāt want to put this down, I just kept thinking to myself what could possibly happen next throughout the whole book. ā„ļø This book was devastating, like pure heartache the whole fucking way. All the pain and suffering poor Laurel Ann went through!.. just to one day end up back in the good graces of her people an to just at least be in proximity of the man she loved but knew she couldnāt have. On a different note this made me feel so thankful I didnāt grow up in a weird cultish religious group with these crazy beliefs. The binding and cleansing rituals š also I could not be buried alive in a coffin with a tarantula.
