Wow, not at all what I was expecting! I went into Charm & Strange blind so I didn't realize how dark and fucked up it was going to be. I personally love dark reads, and while at first I was so lost as to what direction this story was going or just plain frustrated with the constant change of pov it all made sense in the end. Funnily enough, it was that same disjointed style that kept pulling me in and intrigued me enough to keep reading. The writing is powerful and evocative. It's one of those stories where once you accept the confusion, the mystery of what is truly happening gets very addicting. The way this story unravels is very hard hitting and those last couple of chapters knocked the wind out of me. Very twisted but at the same time extremely compelling.

Well, this was definitely strange. 

It's an interesting book, the writing flows and it's engaging. I thinks it's more psychological than thriller given that it's quite obvious what's going on with Win once you get the hang of it. 

Overall this is a sad, metaphoric and intense book. I really enjoyed it.
