Chasing Red
Reviews

This book was really annoying. I kind of enjoyed reading the beginning of this book. I found it entertaining and fun. But it just went downhill in my opinion. I really didn’t like Veronica “Red”. I felt like Caleb was so possessive and was obsessed with her. I also felt like he was in love with her after a few chapters, like damn bro chill. I will say that I liked Caleb more than Veronica. Also there was so much unnecessary drama in this book. And seriously the lack of communication and trust in this book is ridiculous. And that ending was horrendous. I had high hopes for this and was extremely disappointed. Don’t waste your time.

i read this on wattpad when i was in highschool, tried to see if i'd still like it but no. nope. caleb deserved better.

2.5 / 5 stars

first read this on wattpad, and lemme tell you, i could not get over it.
sure, it has it's hype yeah, but it honestly is one of greatest books ive ever read on the app. so when i heard a paperback is gonna be published, i couldn't help but buy it (it's divided into 2 parts)
the quotes. the characters. the plot. i loved all of it.

This story was so cute I'm cryin. The way the author describes the love between Caleb & Red is so descriptive I loved it. Wish there was a sequel.

Ese final me dejó esperando más...

First Read: This book was a disappointment. I picked it up because Anna Todd blurbed it. I just couldn’t get into it. I hated this book! The writing was awful. Nothing about this book made any sense to me. The characters were so plain. Very flat personalities and there’s not one character I actually liked. This book should have stayed on Wattpad and not on the shelves in bookstores. In the end, I got to page 150 or something and put it down. I highly doubt I’ll be picking it up again in the future. Second Read: Review to come

When I first picked up this book, I thought, "Oh, it's not going to be as spectacular as everyone has hyped it up to be." Let me tell you, I joined the Wattpad party later than everyone else because I hadn't even heard of the app until years after it came out. As soon as I passed Chapter One, I realized my mistake in judging a book that was very hyped. I should have known it would have been good because everything that Sourcebooks has published has been nothing but amazing. Isabelle Ronin (which people somehow got me mistaken for in my school) is a spectacular author who brought about a non-smutty romance. I can't tell you how happy I am that this girl has not made this so exotic. This romance is so different from other romances, and I loved it. However, I did feel that, in the beginning, there wasn't a lot of building. The first few chapters were a bit slower than I would have expected. That, and when it was first given that Veronica and Caleb were to obviously be together, I felt their relationship was a bit fast-paced as well. This is coming from someone who has only read five romance books in her entire life, so don't take this too personally. After getting more into the book, I began to, once again, realize my mistakes and understand that there was a reason Caleb and Veronica's relationship was going to be fast-paced: they were honestly attracted to one another. I did enjoy this book, and I am so excited that ALWAYS RED is on its way to my house. I am also very proud to add this book to my Wattpad collection, as well as say congratulations to Isabelle for such an amazing piece of work. Because of everything I have listed, I gave this book 4.5/5 stars. But because Goodreads AND Amazon do not allow an "in-between," it will show up as 4/5 stars. If you haven't decided to pick this book up already, I do suggest that you do. You will not regret it.
