This is a book I could not put down. The suspense had me so invested. It’s told entirely through police interviews which was a great format in my opinion because it allowed readers to hear the same story from four different points of view simultaneously. My favorite parts were whenever their stories contradicted each others. Its definitely the kind of story that makes you uneasy, because it feels so real. I think a lot of people have experienced nights where everything just feels a little bit off and there’s a looming threat that something bad might happen. That’s what the first part of the book is about. Then, something terrible does happen and the story gets more and more tense and chaotic. And although there is a resolution, the ending still feels uncomfortable. I was basically shaking when by the time I finished it.
