A Novel

This was the hardest read…. There was so many horrible traumatic thing that’s happen to these poor girl it broke my heart. The ending was a tragedy and somewhat of a blessing - a small small one- what an emotional ride….

This one was completely unrealistic and I had a hard time getting into it (the part with the dad was great, but after that it was just too unrealistic). But in the end it was dark enough, action-packed enough that I kept reading and enjoyed it, even though I didn't love it.

This is one emotional book that deals with heavy topics that I don't usually see in books, or usually aren't so graphic.

So you are following 3 sisters, Dani, Courtney and Jess. One night, after having a massive fight with their abusive father, they end up running away, when their truck breaks down they stop in a small town to get help but instead they run into more trouble.

Years later one of the sisters go missing and sets off events that will rock the sisters lives they have built for themselves.

I was really hooked reading this story, it was so emotional, the author done such an amazing job at vividly painting the picture where it was like I was there as a bystander watching. I could feel the sisters pain, if they were scared I was scared, if they were hurt I could feel their pain. A few times i was in actual tears!

Even years after what happened, they were all still scared and hurting, where i think most authors would have made them forget and move on with life.

I loved how this book delved into the topics of family and what family would go through and do for one another to help each other.

I would highly recommend you read this!

Once again Chevy Stevens does not disappoint this book is Amazing!!!!! I loved all the twist and turns of the story. The death of Jess, Courtney, Dani father led them getting into worse trouble- which has consequences years later. I don't want to spoil this book. I think that there some books that shouldn't be spoiled and this one of them. You have to experience the journey with the characters as events happens which makes this book even more Amazing. I highly recommend this book.

TRIGGER WARNINGS!!!! So be very cautious going into this book!

HOLY WOW!!!!!!!! This book was gripping as hell from beginning to end! There was not a single moment where I was bored. I listened to this on audio while following along in the book, which is how I usually read my thrillers. It always brings the book to life for me. The writing in this was phenomenal. This was my first book by Chevy Stevens and I will definitely be checking out more from her.

While I did enjoy this book. I found it quite depressing. These girls have some of the worst luck. In this book we see the worst of people and some of the best in people. I would recommend reading it for yourself, as I did enjoy reading it as I do all of Chevy Stevens books, this one was just really depressing.
