If I wake up tomorrow morning praying for Kambili and Jaja and if I spend hours trying to visualize where they would be on a random Sunday in 2030, I would not be mad at it. 

I'm very late to the party with this one, but I relish in the fact that I've come here without force or compulsion nothing but the universe doing it's thing. 

the way Chimamanda weaves words into a mystique of engagement on raging themes does not escape this book, with so many notes on religion, family dynamics, abuse, political landscapes (giving so much flesh to our Nigerian political history as always)! It is also very profound to see how abuse trickles down by affecting people across generations and how it clothes itself in self-righteousness and sanctimonious religion, this was such an interesting read, I haven't felt this way about a book in a while.
